Maintaining Hydrosol Integrity: Store in a dry location, away from light, preferably in a amber bottle. Keep storage temperature between 3°C to 5°C. Take care to ensure the hydrosol remains and is used in a sterile environment free from potential contaminants. Bottles should not be left partially full; moving smaller quantities of hydrosol to appropriately sized vessels will reduced oxidization by minimizing exposure to air. For best results use immediately, or add a preservative to increase stability and shelf life. Please keep in mind that hydrosols are fragile.

Description: Cedar Leaf is an evergreen coniferous tree native to eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. In Canada, its range extends to the Arctic treeline and the southern tip of Hudson Bay. Cedar Leaf thrives in coniferous swamps and can also be found growing along remote cliffs.

Cedar Leaf has widespread ethnobotanical uses across North America, with many Indigenous peoples regarding it as a sacred plant. It is recognized as one of the four plants within the Ojibwe medicine wheel.

Characteristics: Cedar Leaf Hydrosol is a clear liquid with a water-like consistency and boasts a scent reminiscent of freshly crushed cedar leaf needles. It is one of the most distinctive scents of North American woodlands, characterized by a sweet, invigorating, and fresh woody camphoraceous aroma.
