Vetivier is known as a sacred herb in India. Both the leaves and roots have been used in healing, calming, and cooling the body. The roots are dried and woven into window curtains that keep the rooms fresh.
Not to be used by pregnant and breastfeeding women as there is not enough information with regards to nursing infants, otherwise it is considered a safe, non-toxic, non-irritant, non-sensitizing substance.
