Characteristics: | White grapefruit is a thin, clear to pale yellow, orangish liquid. It is quite a bit lighter in colour than pink grapefruit oil. A medium note, white grapefruit has a fresh, slightly bitter scent that is quite characteristic of the fresh fruit. |

Interesting Facts: | It is believed that the first grapefruit tree was cultivated in the West Indies some time in the eighteenth century. It was then known as the Shaddock fruit after the captain who first introduced it to that part of the world.
